Latin-R&B group Nina Sky, which is comprised of identical twins Natalie and Nicole, have inked a new recording deal with Polo Ground Music, which is distributed by J Records. The duo will release their sophomore album, “The Musical,” early next year. The project will feature guest appearances by Rick Ross and Trey Songz with production by Scott Storch, Cool & Dre, Cipha Sounds, Salaam Remi, Ryan Leslie and The Jetsons. Nicole of Nina Sky told Allhiphop.com, "We are excited to be a part of the Polo Grounds Music/J Records family. We can't wait to begin working with Bryan (Leach) on our new album because he understands the Nina Sky movement. We are confident that, together, we can take our project to the next level." Polo Grounds Music CEO Bryan Leach added, "We are on a roll right now, but it gets no better than signing an act of this caliber . . . Nicole & Natalie are just getting started with their careers so we're lucky and excited to have them as part of our PGM family." Nina Sky released their debut project in 2004 but their new fans are still surprised to find out that Nina Sky isn't one person but rather a set of twins. Nicole explained: "Yeah, we still get that. When we came up with our name we wanted to do it like it was one person and there's two of us. We didn't know how we were going to form a name, but we wanted there to be some background behind it." The first single off The Musical is "Clothes Off", featuring Black Jays labelmate, Daytona. A music video for the single is in the works.
