Whitney Houston says ‘Your Girl Is Coming Back,’ New Song Dominates The Net
Intentional or not, Whitney Houston's aptly titled "Like I Never Left," hit the net last week and has since dominated anything music related online, marking a significant and well received return for the diva. The song which features Akon becomes Houston's first solo track since 2003's "One Wish (for Christmas)" and breaks the silence on her tightly wrapped comeback album. Even though Houston's "Like I Never Left" is a love song, one cannot ignore lyrics like "Yes, your girl is coming back" and " I want you to love me like I never left" as a message perfectly cut for the songbirds return after a number of troubled years. The chart topping diva's return follows years of an intensely media covered and scrutinized rollercoaster ride full of substance abuse problems, custody battles and other scandals that all seemed to come to an end in 2007 when Houston filed for a divorce from R&B singer/actor Bobby Brown. Whitney Houston's highly anticipated album is slated for release late this fall and if "Like I Never Left" is an indication of what's to come on her album rumored to be titled " Undefeated," Whitney is here to stay!
