In an open letter posted on People magazine's Web site Thursday (June 12), R&B singer Usher denied reports that he harassed and threatened some people in the media; said he wanted to keep details about his upcoming marriage to Tameka Foster and the birth of their child private; and asked his fans to not believe all the rumors that have been floating around about him. "It's disturbing that the media and bloggers continuously speculate on the personal aspects of my life, therefore making assumptions and wrong insinuations that my fans are subject to believe," he said in his letter. "I am happy, excited, completely clear and independent on my direction, feelings, decisions and I am NOT BEING LED," he added, responding to rumors that Foster has Usher on a short leash. "Some media and bloggers have been totally intrusive, they have misconstrued aspects of my personal life and, because of this, my 'true' fans are not sure about what is fact and what is fiction." 50 Cent's new album, Curtis, will now be released on September 11, 2007. They are recording two new songs and one of them might be a single." The documentary will be aired in the autumn, ahead of the band's winter global comeback tour. The Mail On Sunday has threatened legal action against the Official UK Charts Company if it doesn’t allow Prince’s latest album, ‘Planet Earth’ – which is being given away for free in the newspaper – to become chart eligible. The UK Charts Company have said that the album will not be chart eligible because it wouldn’t be able to audit sales properly. Stephen Miron, the Mail On Sunday’s Managing Director, has sent a letter to the company demanding that the newspapers copies of the album be chart eligible.
