UNDEROATH'S VIDEO FOR "IN REGARDS TO MYSELF" OFFICIALLY ADDED TO MTV2 AND FUSE
UNDEROATH's video for their second single "In Regards To Myself"--from the band's explosive DEFINE THE GREAT LINE album--has been officially added to MTV2 and Fuse. Directed by the avant-garde production team Popcore Films (Cult of Luna) and shot on location in Sweden, the video for the song compellingly portrays themes of isolation and redemption through its stark surrealistic setting.
"In Regards To Myself" is one of the highlights of UNDEROATH's live show, and the band is currently blowing away crowds overseas on the Taste of Chaos International trek, with shows in Australia, New Zealand, Japan and Europe (Spain, Germany, Italy, Switzerland, Belgium, France, Netherlands, Denmark and the United Kingdom). Other artists on the bill include Taking Back Sunday, Anti-Flag, Saosin and Thursday, whose lead singer Geoff joined UNDEROATH on stage at Burswood Dome in Perth Australia to sing "A Moment Suspended In Time" in front of 6500 rabid fans. The song is the second track on the DEFINE THE GREAT LINE album, which made serious waves when it entered the Billboard pop albums chart at #2 with over 97,000 copies sold during the first week alone.
Next, UNDEROATH--lead vocalist SPENCER CHAMBERLAIN, guitarist TIM MCTAGUE, bassist GRANT BRANDELL, drummer AARON GILLESPIE, keyboardist CHRISTOPHER DUDLEY and guitarist JAMES SMITH--will announce plans for a U.S. headlining tour in early 2007. Look for the band to solidify Revolver magazine's high praise in the October 2006 issue in which writer Jason Ferguson noted: "...after years of touring, Underoath have become one of the most punishing metalcore powerhouses around, and-in the pouring rain-they delivered an astonishingly brutal set that proved them worthy of the buzz surrounding them."
