Toni Braxton To Star In Vegas
Toni Braxton has found a new place to call home. After her first road tour in 10 years, the six-time Grammy winner will be the new headliner at the Flamingo hotel-casino on the Las Vegas Strip beginning in August, replacing Wayne Newton.
Toni will perform six nights a week through March 2007 in a musical production called, "Toni Braxton: Revealed." "This is a show where I'm going to reveal myself to my fans," Braxton, 38, told sources.
"It's going to be sexy," she said. "It's going to be intimate." The production will take fans through her musical career beginning in 1992, she said. In March, Braxton embarked on her first tour in a decade to promote her latest album, "Libra." The tour ends July 3 in Houston at the Essence Music Festival.
Toni is best known for hits such as ?Breathe Again,? ?You?re Makin? Me High? and ?Love Shoulda Brought You Home.? She also starred on Broadway in ?Aida? and ?Beauty and the Beast.?
