Report: R&B Singer Toni Braxton Hospitalized For Unknown Illness
R&B Singer/entertainer Toni Braxton was admitted to a Las Vegas hospital for an unknown illness, after her show at the Flamingo Monday night. The officials at St. Rose Dominican Hospital told KVVU-TV, Las Vegas, the singer is in good condition, but did not offer details on why she is there. While it was unclear what Braxton was suffering from, the singer does have pericarditis, an inflammation of the sac surrounding her heart, which she found out about after she gave birth to her second son. Braxton is a spokeswoman for the American Heart Association. Ticket holders are encouraged to contact the Flamingo to see whether Braxton will be performing Wednesday night.
