Tina Turner Announced 2008-2009 Tour Dates

Tina Turner

The legendary Tina Turner at 68 is taking center stage again after a lapse of 7 years. With 8 Grammy awards and a mention in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, Her concerts are the most awaited. She’ll be touring the United States and Europe between October this year and April, 2009. Her selection of music will obviously include her hit numbers churned out through her expansive music career. The concerts promise vow to woo audiences with brilliant production, her sensational band, original choreography, latest lighting techniques and all that you expect from shows of such extravagance. Her most recent studio album released in 1999, “Twenty Four Seven,” was a head turner and her 95-minute DVD release last fall, “Celebrate: The Best of Tina Turner,” was an adaptation of a 1999 concert, a celebration of her 60th birthday. Her concert rumours took shape after her performance alongside Beyonce at the Grammy Awards last year, and now they are a reality with the announcement of her concert dates.
