Tho new DVDs from The Who
British rock group The Who have announced the release of two feature-length DVDs in the US on November 6.
The first, 'Amazing Journey: The Story of the Who', chronicles the band's history through interviews with Pete Townshend and Roger Daltrey as well as rare concert footage.
The second, 'Amazing Journey: Six Quick Ones', is divided into six segments, four of which detail the musical abilities of The Who's band members.
The fifth segment is called 'Who Art You' and examines the Mod culture that inspired the band's visuals, and the sixth segment, 'Who's Back', is an account of the recording of 'Real Good Looking Boy' in 2003 -- the band's first studio album in more than 20 years.
The DVDs also include bonus material such as a video scrapbook featuring footage from their 2000 concert at Royal Albert Hall with Eddie Vedder and Bryan Adams, as well as a dinner with Keith Moon and the tragic death of 11 of their fans at a 1979 concert in Cincinnati, Ohio.
'Amazing Journey: The Story of the Who', will premiere September 12 at the Toronto International Film Festival.
