Solange Knowles continues to prove that she is a multi-tasker, the "I Decided" singer/songwriter made her directorial debut when she took control of the video for her second single "Sandcastle Disco" recently. In her directorial debut Solange, who also co-wrote Beyonce's hit single "Get Me Bodied," wrote the treatment for "Sandcastle Disco," the second single from her album due next month. Taking fans on a roller coaster ride through cutting edge and inventive abstract visuals Knowles says "It's a living pop up book.... each page folding over and zooming into the next. The colors are vivid, I used many references from the movie Across The Universe that are links in the treatment and also the HP commercials we've seen running with Jay-Z and Serena Williams." Written by Cee-Lo, "Sandcastle Disco" was shot July 15th and is expected to hit major networks within the next few weeks, just in time for the singer's sophomore release "SoL-AngeL & The Hadley St. Dreams due August 26th.
