version 2

---------

Tabbed by Michael Ries

Here is a very powerful song off ADORE.

I use my electric with distortion.

This is a pretty simple song but it sounds

great when you play along with the CD.

And now for something completely different...

I had originally tabbed this when the Viper Room tracks became available,

but since having listened to the studio version, I've made quick revisions.

This song uses an alternate tuning as well (ala "in the arms of sleep").

Alt. Tuning (G-G#)

Once again, I won't provide you with lyric for lyric chord progressions.

Play to the song and work it out.

The leads are characteristic tone-downs of James wacky leads from MCIS;

a much more pleasant feedback/E-Bow sound (although, he doesn't use an E-Bow).

Unfortunately, I don't have the equipment to test feedback levels,

nor to add any effects to my current

Verse Lead 1

1st 4 measures - Feedback equivalent to 3rd Octave G#.

I suspect that this will be the 6th fret of the D.

2nd 4 measures - same as 1st.

3rd 4 measures - Feedback equivalent to 3rd Octave F#.

4th fret of D off same hunch as 1st.

4th 4 measures - same as 1st.

Verse Lead 2

effects - very smooth, some Chorus

Last measure (entering Chorus) Legato

Verse 2 Lead 1 (Loops through entire verse)

Chorus Lead

If you can turn your amp up to 10, and you've got some effects,

you can figure this lead out yourself.

Here's a hint at the main notes (E, D#, B, G#, F#)
