Super Producer/Songwriter Ryan Leslie to Release Self
Ryan Leslie, the superproducer/songwriter behind R&B/Pop singer Cassie’s chart topping hit single “Me & U” and Cheri Dennis’ “ I Love You” is now taking his music worldwide with the release of his highly anticipated self-titled debut album on June 17th. Previously titled Used to Be, the now self titled album is led by the single “Diamond Girl,” which sits at no.38 on Billboard’s Hot R&B/Hip Hop Songs chart this week. Leslie recently premiered the new single on BET’s Spring Bling slated to air later this month on the network with plans to release a video for the single soon. Leslie an established songwriter has written and produced singles for Beyonce, Danity Kane, Britney Spears, Donnell Jones, Snoop Dogg, New Edition and Usher. A multi-talented artist and now music mogul, Leslie graduated from Harvard University at the age of 19 later launching the global marketing and music focused media entity Next Selection Lifestyle Group. In 2006 the group scored it’s first major single with breakout R&B/pop singer Cassie’s “Me & U.” The new self titled album will be released under Universal Motown/NextSelection June 17th. “Diamond Girl” is available now on iTunes and other music outlets everywhere.
