Remarks:
A stunningly beautiful closer to an incredibly underrated album. I can't
say enough about how cool this song is, so instead I'll say things about
the transcription.
This song is in G minor with parts in A minor; 4/4 except where noted.
Puritanically speaking, the opening palm muted part (the A riffs)
isn't there. I think the bass, or a sequenced synth, is doing something
similar. But if you're short handed this does the trick.
There is insufficient information here for a keyboard player to reproduce
the keyboard parts. If someone would like to figure them out for me I'll
gladly add them to the transcription.
Almost all of this is played with clean tone, except for the chorus riffs,
the solo, and riff E. The fills during riff A2 are definitely clean. Play
with chorus, maybe an almost imperceptible amount of slapback delay -- who
knows what else? Alex Lifeson's guitar rig costs more than the national
debt and you can really tell it on this song.
And listen to that solo -- you know this man can walk on water. Oh well,
