Richards to pen his memoirs for $5 million
It appears that Rolling Stones man Keith Richards has just signed a deal to write his life story for over $5 million. Sources indicate that the guitarist will meet publishers in New York this summer to pitch his book.
Richards is supposed to be working on the book with James Fox, who wrote the 1983 novel White Mischief, about an unsolved murder among upper-class British expatriates living in Kenya.
Although no further details have been revealed, his agent Ed Victor said the book could be "the greatest rock 'n' roll book of all time".
Singer Mick Jagger failed to produce a promised autobiography, saying he couldn't remember enough to do a book and the whole process was too boring for him.
