Rihanna Holds Strong On Billboard, Yung Berg Fails To Pack Enough ‘Butts’ In Stores

Rihanna's revamped edition of "Good Girl Gone Bad" remains in the top 10 this week, while a debut from controversial rapper Yung Berg failed to move units. "Good Girl Gone Bad: Reloaded" held on to the #9 spot on Billboard's Hot 100 with 42,429 copies sold during a week where teen sensations, The Jonas Brothers reigned supreme. The Brothers who are also Disney stars sold well over 500,000 copies of their new album, pushing record setting albums from Mariah Carey and Usher down the list of 2008's best selling records. Elsewhere on the charts, Hip Hop star Yung Berg, who is infamous for his rant about ‘dark butts vs. light-skinned butts' failed to move many albums this week. Berg debuted with just 19, 270 copies sold – possibly because the ‘butts' failed to go to the store or download his album after that insightful speech. I guess the apology failed! Lil Wayne's "The Carter III" remains in the top 10 this week. The album featuring the hit singles "A Milli" and "Got Money" moved another 61,600 copies, pushing his total sales to 2,704,700 copies. Next week watch out for Karina Pasian's debut album which hit stores this Tuesday.
