Nelly Hits Hard With R&B Laced 'Knuckles,' Signs Up For 'C.S.I. NY'
After a four year album hiatus, Hip Hop star Nelly is ready for the 'ring' again, this time out he's tapped top R&B talent for "Brass Knuckles," his fifth studio album. "Nobody's going to give you anything, you got to work hard for what you want. You got to continue to press" says the multi-platinum rapper who approached "Brass Knuckles" with the same hunger and ambition exhibited on his previous efforts. R&B stars Usher, Ciara, Ashanti and Nelly's Derrty Entertainment up and coming R&B singer Avery Storm join the "Body on Me" star for the album. "Body On Me," which features Ashanti and Akon, leads the album which also features Usher on "Long Night," "Let It Go" with Pharrell, and the summer anthem "Party People" featuring Fergie. In addition to promoting his new album, Nelly is slated to appear on two episodes of CBS' "C.S.I. NY," with the first appearance coming October 8th. "You don't want to be the corpse, because you get the script and it's blank" says nelly, who is staying mum about his role in the show. Nelly's "Brass Knuckles" hits stores and online retailers Tuesday (Sept. 16)
