Remy Ma

Rapper Remy Ma (A.K.A. Remy Smith) is a bad a** chick.  She is charged with attempted murder after a shooting outside a trendy Manhattan nightspot a few days ago.  Police wanted to question her in the shooting of 23 year old Makeda Barnes Joseph early last Saturday after an argument near a bar in the Meatpacking District.

She reported to police Saturday evening and was arrested on charges of assault and criminal possession of a weapon. Apparently, Barnes Joseph was a member of Remy Ma's entourage. They got into an argument which escalated quickly after which police was called via 911 about a woman being shot in her lower torso.

Three blocks away police discovered a blue luxury SUV, owned by Remy Ma, that was involved in a single car crash and abandoned. Remy allegedly fled the scene after the shooting and crashed the Escalade a few blocks later, escaping on foot.
