Jackson Mississippi officials have halted plans that would have allowed R&B singer Ray J to lead the city's annual Christmas parade on Saturday, because of his sex-tape past, reports FOX 11 news. The singer and his sister Brandy Norwood were billed as the event's grand marshalls, but now parade organizers have had second thoughts. A press release sent out on Tuesday confirmed Ray J and his sister, singer/actress Brandy Norwood, would both be guests of honor at the festive event. But organizer Carolyn Redd now claims the news release was inaccurate and Ray J will not be appearing because of his notoriety after his 2003 sex tape with socialite Kim Kardashian was leaked. Jackson Mayor Frank Melton, a family friend of the Norwoods - who grew up in the area, says, "I assure you he will be with me, not in the grand marshall car with Brandy."
