Solo:
The lead-in to the solo is the chorus riff, played with some effect that=20
I'm not sure of, but when I saw this being covered by another band, the=20
guitarist was sliding his finger on the low E between the second and fifth=20
fret and playing the natural harmonics, but I'm sure that Tom had an effect=20
for it... -AMENDMENT
He turns the nob on his volume control very quickly up and down, to give=20
that effect right at the beggining.

For the solo, Tom uses a harmonizer to get that funky harmonica sound, but=20
that's about all I know...
