R. Kelly Releases Statement Regarding Rumored Tour
R&B singer R. KELLY has quashed rumors he is planning a world tour after his child pornography trial. A spokesman for R. Kelly issued the following statement on the R&B star's behalf regarding reports that he was planning a concert tour for October. "Reports that R. Kelly is planning a concert tour in October are not true. Kelly is currently focused on preparing for his trial and has no definite plans for anything beyond that." R&B Singer Keyshia Cole, who was rumored to be opening for the pied-piper, is said to be false also. Kelly is scheduled to go on trial September 17, 2007.
