All played as upstrokes

G----9---9--9---9--9--7---4--------6-----8----

The words are all wrong, I know.. someone mail them to me, but for the time being
this is what I've got:
A Dmaj7 A Dmaj7
I've alternated my meager plot to the shores of the Baltic Sea
A (Dbm) Gbm B E
The teeth of time have stowed the rhyme of how things should(n't) be
F E Eb Bb
My cave, my house, my turning wheel, my little docking pup
B Ab
The march of Colonel Forbin, and his fleahound called McGrupp
(Hit Trey's favorite chord)
The grime of countless workdogs has collected in my sink
I tie my nose with spandex hose before i get a drink
We lay on frozen warthogs, with its poison in our minds
While the ferns that spot our children are encased in orange rinds...
(Hit Trey's Favorite Chord )
Gbm E D Db
All times and seasons are the reasons people and their clans
Gbm E D Db
Have stoned the Famous Mockingbird with glue and rubber bands
D E Gbm G
They rise and cry in agony, as Rutherford the Brave
Gbm E D E
Chokes Tela and the Unit Monster, managing to save...
[Same chords for next verses, I dont' have the words right now]
A (Dbm) Gbm B E
... I'd like to get his autograph, but he looks too much like Dave
F E Eb Bb
He looks too much like Dave, he looks too much like Dave,
Ab Abm Bb
He looks too much.... He looks too much... He looks to much ...
Abm A
He looks too much.... He looks too much
Dbm E > B (from Dude of Life's "Skippy"?)
Repeat Intro
This part I haven't been able to distinguish but it's either one of
these two progressions:
Dbm A > B
or
Dbm Gbm > B
Then an E9 chord topped off with an octave E7+9
E9 E7+9
E-----------
B--7-----19-
G--7-----18-
D--6-----19-
A--7-----20-
E-----------
Then up to F9 and F7+9.. then back to the intro:
Here, ehmakisupa@aol.com took over..
I got these chords for this part:
E A E Bm7 A D E D Dmaj7 E D Dmaj7 E A
E----------------------5---2---4---2-----2---------2-----2--------------
B----9--10---9----7----5---3---5---3-----2---------3-----2---------2----
G----9---9---9----7----6---2---4---2-----2-----1---2-----2-----1---2----
D----9--11---9----7----7-----------------------2---------------2---2----
Do that 4 times. The fourth time, do this after the last A chord:
Dmaj7 E A Abm B A E
E------2--------------4----4---2---0-----
B------2---------2----4----4---2---0-----
G------2-----1---2----4----4---2---1----
D------------2---2----6----4---2---2-----
A---------------------6------------2-----
E---------------------4------------0------
Here Mike plays E and B over and over while Page noodles around on the keys for
a while. The way they get out of this is somewhat random but for the most part
when Page is finishing up his solo he will throw in some off notes, and the band
gets louder and softer a few times until Fish ends it with a nice four bar snare
fill.
Trey then does something along these lines:
E---------------------------|---------------------------|---------------------
B---------------------------|---------------------------|---------------------
G---7-----------7-8-9-10----|---7----------7-8-9-10-----|-10------10-11-12-13-
D------8------8-------------|----8-----8----------------|---11--11------------
E-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
B-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
G---10--------------10-11-12-13-----15-16-17-18-------------------------------
D---------11----11------------------------------------------------------------
Then back into these chords:
E-A-E-Bm7-A-D-E-D-Dmaj7-E-D-Dmaj7-E-A
You do those four times but again on the fourth time it changes to this after
the last A chord:
Dmaj7 E A Abm B A Ab Db Bb B
E-----2---------------4----7---5---4-------------------
B-----2----------2----4----7---5---4----6----3----4----
G-----2------1---2----4----8---6---5----6----3----4----
D------------2---2----6----9---7---6----6----3----4----
A--------------------------6---9---7----6--------------
E--------------------------4---7---5----4--------------
Then do the Ab Db Bb B thing once more.
Then to:
Eb Db
E------------------
B---8------6-----
G---8------6-----
D---8------6-----
Do that four times. Then:
Eb F
E----------------
B----8-----10--
G----8-----10--
D----8-----10--
Do that four times then these chords:
Gbm Ab
E----2----4-----
B----2----4-----
G----2----5-----
D----4----6----
A----4----6----
E----2----4-----
Then go to this Ab:
Ab
E----------
B---13---
G---13---
D---13----
And just slide down down down down.....
Back into the intro chords(Emaj7 & Bm7)
For the end you just hit the B & E twelfth fret harmonics.
That is as close as I could get with the song. It at least all sounds right.
