I wrote this after waking up at 5:30am from a dream about the song.

Must have been one of those night I fell asleep to the radio, heh hee.

Any thoughts, criticisms, etc. will be welcomed. This is a first for me,

Broke down and busted, this wreck won’t go

People drive by, they don’t care to know,

I should’ve paid attention to the dash board lights,

Now this truck looks like me after our big fight.

Ain’t got a cell phone, or Triple A, Lord what do I do,

There’s no ‘check engine’ light on someone like you,

The way this truck runs, is the same way that I feel,

I’m so - broke down, lost and spinnin’ my wheels,

I can’t go forward and I can’t go back,

You got the last laugh and I got the tears,

It’ll take a miracle to get me on track

I can’t even get to a bar for some beers

Cuz I’m - broke down, lost and spinning my wheels

Somethin’ has just gotta change for me,

maybe a new ford for this old chevy,

A little bit of luck, would make me feel new,

Until then I’ll just learn to make do,

Well there’s a drop top comin up into view,

With a cute lil red head and a bulldog tattoo,

Like this old truck, I’ll leave your memory in the dust,

I’m gonna follow her, not knowin if it’s love or lust,
