Rockers Nine Inch Nails, Rise Against and AFI have been honored at the inaugural PETA2 Libby Awards for their animal rights activities. The bands tied for the Best Group prize in People For The Ethical Treatment Of Animals' first youth awards.
Nine Inch Nails were honored with the Best New Fur Foe prize after frontman Trent Reznor agreed to narrate a harrowing undercover video about the fur trade in China.
AFI were named Best Vegetarian Band, while Rise Against claimed the Best Animal Rights Song of 2006 (Ready To Fall).
