An Angry Trent Reznor Plans To Go It Alone
Nine Inch Nails front man Trent Reznor insists he'll release all his future albums online after publicly blasting his record company bosses for over-pricing his new album. The rocker was appalled when he spotted his new album, Year Zero, on sale in Australia - for twice as much as other releases - and called his label executives "thieves".
And now he's planning to quit the industry and release his own albums. He says, "I have one record left that I owe a major label, then I will never be seen in a situation like this again. If I could do what I want right now, I would put out my next album (and) you could download it from my site at as high a bit-rate as you want (and) pay $4."
