Nickel Creek

Alt-Rock singer/songwriter Fiona Apple, and progressive bluegrass band Nickel Creek will play a bunch of concerts together in August 2007. Fiona Apple, and Nickel Creek collaborative tour consists of 13 dates, kicks off August 2 in Baltimore (MD), and wraps up August 19 in Westbury (NY). The artists will visit Charlotte (NC), Columbus (OH), New York (NY), Rochester (NY), Boston (MA), Philadelphia (PA), and other US cities. It will become a part of bluegrass outfit’s ‘farewell’ tour, as Nickel Creek previously announced that the trio stops activity this fall. Fiona Apple is touring in support of her 2005 studio work Extraordinary Machine. In July Nickel Creek will also play several shows without Fiona.
