Ne-Yo Contemplates Rock Record Plus ‘Gentleman’ Album Pushed Back
While waiting for his new album "The Year of the Gentleman" to hit stores, Ne-Yo is busy contemplating a collaboration with controversial rocker Marilyn Manson. "Ne-Yo goes rock - you heard it here first! – I'm also trying to get hold of Marilyn Manson about an idea I have." says the singer/songwriter whose album was recently pushed from August 5th to September 16th. As far fetched as it may seem, a Ne-Yo and Marilyn Manson collaboration is possible, after all the rocker known for his unique sense of style and one-of-a- kind stage persona collaborated with DMX on "The Omen," a popular track from the rappers 1998 album "Flesh of My Flesh, Blood of My Blood." As for Ne Yo this is not the first time he has stepped outside the box either, the singer/songwriter worked with the Goo Goo Dolls a few years back and has also contributed to Lindsay Lohan's latest effort which he says is "will surprise the world." In related news, Ne-Yo who also penned Jennifer Hudson's "Spotlight," released the second single from his highly anticipated album entitled "Miss Independent" last week. A video for the new single is expected to follow soon.
