Natalie Cole Plans ‘Still Unforgettable’ Tour and Album
Grammy Award-winning R&B/Jazz singer Natalie Cole has put together a fall tour in celebration of her forthcoming album "Still Unforgettable"which is slated to hit stores September 9th. Designed as a follow up to her 1991 album "Unforgettable....With Love," Cole's "Still Unforgettable" sequel features a posthumous duet with her legendary father, Nat King Cole. "If there was going to be another 'duet' with Dad, I felt it should be something more whimsical, fun and light," says Cole who was recently diagnosed with Hepatitis C. Currently going through a series treatments Cole says "I am committed to my belief in myself and in my abiding faith to meet this challenge with a heartfelt optimism and determination. This is how I intend to deal with this current challenge in my life." Cole's new album becomes her 21st studio effort and marks her first time producing. Comprised of fourteen records, including "Come Rain or Come Shine," "The Best Is Yet To Come," and "Nice N' Easy" Cole hopes to bring her new set to fans via a 10+ date tour in October. Kicking off in Indiana, Pennsylvania on October 7th, the tour will make rounds throughout the east coast before coming to a close in Windsor, Ontario on October 23rd.
