Misc - Tapping Guide(beginner) guitar tab

Hello.

I decided to write a small guide on tapping for those who are confused

about it.

D:9-2-5.

Above is the example I will use. It is from Van Halens Euption.

You either use your midle finger or your index finger, wichever

is more comfortable for you.

You tap the 9 with your midlle or index finger, then you pull it

off to the side. When you pull it off,

the 2 should sound. After that you hammer on the 5 fret note.

When you start, you should start slowly. It is important that

you get it really smooth when you are going slow,

then you can speed it up.

Once you have gotten this you can check out an excsersise that

I posted or try eruption, wich is really fun if you can tap well.
