Michael Jackson Postpones Tokyo Christmas Event
Michael Jackson has postponed an appearance at a Christmas party being held in the Japanese capital Tokyo by more than three months.
The 48-year-old had been due to dine with fans at an event on December 19th, but the singer will now be able to add an extra date when he entertains on March 8th next year.
Jackson is not scheduled to perform at the party, but fans have paid more up to 400,000 yen (3,393 USD) just to eat with him and listen to pre-recorded versions of his songs.
A band, gospel singers and dancers will also be present at the event which has already sold more than 1,600 tickets.
The singer made his first public appearance since his child molestation trial at the World Music Awards in London last month.
