According to reports, Michael Jackson is in discussions about creating a 50-foot robotic replica of himself to roam the Las Vegas desert. It is also said that his plans include an intricate show in Vegas, which would feature the giant robot striding around the desert, firing laser beams.

If built, the plan is for the giant Jackco to be seen from airplanes flying into McLaren Airport, i.e., the first thing tourists see upon entering the city’s airspace.

The robot’s designer, Andre Van Pier, and his partner, Luckman Van Pier, claims blueprints for the robot have been drawn up and shown to the Jackson. Luckman Van Pier told the New York Daily News, “Michael looked at the sketches and likes them … It would be in the desert sands. Laser beams would shoot out of it so it would be the first thing people flying in would see."

The pop legend is currently understood to be living in the city, as he considers making a comeback.
