Metallica - The Four Horsemen (live) guitar tab
This is one kick ass song...not as fast as some of them, but probably one of their best.
ok, this is just Hetfields part to The Four Horseman from
the Mexico City recording on the Live ***: Binge & Purge album tour.
But this tab does work for the two times ive seen them and theyve played this, and on the
'Unnamed Feeling' EP they play it like this.
This song omits about two minutes of the album recording from the first Metallica album
'Kill Em All' (including
the first solo), so dont write and complain to me about missing anything off!
Anyway, this is my first tab, so i would really appreciate somone rating it! =D
Anyway, here goes...
the song's in standard E-E tuning.
a few things first: (x) = harmonic that fret.
x~x = hammer on or pull off the fret (whichever way the scale is going,eg. 7~5 = a pull off
from 7th fret)
all open E notes are palm muted...just the way the tallica boys do their stuff.oh, in
the verse, the open Es are fast (but u knew that cos you know thw song!).

Then comes verse 3, so its back to the verse riff, so play Rhythm B twice
Follow it up with the chorus riff, so Rhythm C.
Then the interlude between the chorus and the solo. To get this play Rhythm A twice.
Kirk now comes in with the chorus, so James plays Rhythm D3 8 times.
