Mary J. Blige has released "Just Fine," the first single from her upcoming Geffen album, "Growing Pains." Produced by Christopher "Tricky" Stewart (Britney Spears, Rihanna) and Jazze Pha, the dance/disco feeling uptempo party track leads the Nov. 27 release of "Growing Pains," the follow-up to her 2005's acclaimed "The Breakthrough." On “Just Fine,” Mary expresses the joy of having high self-esteem. "No time for moping around/ Are you kidding?" she sings. "And no time for negative vibes, 'cause I'm winning ... Got my head on straight, got my vibe right, ain't gonna let you kill it/ See, I wouldn't change, my life's just fine." Little other information about the new album has yet been announced beyond contributions from Sean Garrett, Rodney Jerkins and Bryan-Michael Cox, who won a Grammy Award for co-writing Blige's hit "Be Without You." Since its release, The Breakthrough has sold over three million copies in the U.S and over seven million copies worldwide, becoming one of the five best-selling albums of 2006. The success of The Breakthrough won Blige nine Billboard Music Awards, two American Music Awards, two BET Awards, two NAACP Image Awards, and a Soul Train Award. She also received eight Grammy Award nominations at the 2007 Grammy Awards, the most of any artist that year. "Be Without You" was nominated for both "Record of the Year" and "Song of the Year." Blige won three: "Best Female R&B Vocal Performance", "Best R&B Song" (both for "Be Without You"), and "Best R&B Album" for The Breakthrough. "One", and "Be Without You" in addition to the other singles released helped Mary sell a combined 11 million singles worldwide in addition to the seven million albums sold worldwide.
