Marilyn Manson Still Planning On Making Movie Based On Lewis Carroll's Life
Shock-rocker Marilyn Manson was inspired to make a new horror biopic about Alice In Wonderland author Lewis Carroll after reading the writer's diaries. Manson plans to start shooting the delayed project, Phantasmagoria: The Visions of Lewis Carroll, later this year.
The Rock Is Dead singer says, "I read Lewis Carroll's diaries, and he's a very fractured soul. I think I identified with it more than just fascination; I was in the same mental state."
Manson will play Carroll in the film, which will also feature Lily Cole, Tilda Swinton and the rocker's girlfriend Evan Rachel Wood.
