‘Grillz’ and ‘Pullin Me Back’ Producer To Be Honored At ASCAP Pop Music Awards In April

Grammy Award Winning Atlanta-based Producer, LROC will be honored at the 24th Annual ASCAP Pop Music Awards Wednesday, April 18th for “Grillz" and “Pullin’ Me Back,” which were among the most performed ASCAP pop songs of 2006. This year’s ceremony will be held at 7:00 p.m. at the Kodak Theater with cocktails and a buffet dinner immediately following in the Grand Ballroom of the adjacent Renaissance.

LROC has been gifted with an innovative vision to express his musical ideas and “Midas Touch” to recent chartbuster releases from Janet Jackson (“Call On Me”-featuring Nelly and “So Excited”), Monica (“Everytime Tha Beat Drop”-featuring Dem Franchize Boys) and Chingy (“Pullin Me Back”-featuring Tyrese). In 2005, LROC was awarded an ASCAP Pop Music Award and a Grammy Award for his songwriting contribution to Ushers’ “Yeah!” the most performed song that year! Last year, he scored his second Grammy nomination for Mariah Carey’s “Can I Get Your Number” from her top-selling CD, The Emancipation of Mimi, as well as an ASCAP R&B Award.
