Limp Bizkit - Thank You guitar tab
Fred Durst featuring Jimmy Page and Wes from Puddle of Mudd
"Thank You"
Performed Live at the 2001 MTV European Video Awards
I was sitting here one day watchin TV when I seen Fred Durst singing
the old Led Zeppelin song "Thank You." I was amazed at how good he
sounded. So, I downloaded the song on the internet and figured out how
to play it. This isn't perfect, but you can sing to it with relative
ease. Also, i have yet to figure out the solo due to the fact that I
am not Jimmy Page.
Capo 2nd Fret
All chords are relative to the capo... So if I say "A", that's actually
a "B" chord, and etc... There's a little riff played with the "A" chord
during the intro. All it is is a little variation where you move a finger
up and down on the 2nd fret to the 3rd fret and back again on the "B" string.
A G D A
If the sun refused to shine, I would still be loving you.
A G D A
When mountains crumble to the sea, there will still be you and me.
F# B F# B E
Kind woman, I give you my all, Kind woman, nothing more.
G D A
Little drops of rain whisper of the pain, tears of loves lost in the days gone by.

My love is strong, with you there is no wrong,
A
together we shall go until we die.

An inspiration is what you are to me, inspiration, look... see.
(This is where the extremely awesome Jimmy Page 12-string guitar
solo is... The verse part is played behind the solo - A, G, D, A)

And so today, my world it smiles, your hand in mine, we walk the miles,

Thanks to you it will be done, for you to me are the only one, the only one.

Well, if you have any questions, email me... I know a bunch of songs
on the guitar. I specialize in Nirvana, but give me a shot with some
other stuff. I might be able to help you out. Ok then.. I'm outta here.
