Hip Hop News: Legendary Hip Hop Icon KRS One’s Son Found Dead
Randy Hubbard Parker, 23, the son of hip-hop icon KRS-One (Lawrence Krisna Parker) and his wife, Simone G. Parker, has died of an apparent suicide reports Vibe.com. Parker, who had long suffered from "severe depression," was discovered in his Atlanta apartment over the weekend. Parker was born July 18, 1983, in Queens, NY. He had moved to the Atlanta area to seek work as a graphic designer and a fashion entrepreneur. A private memorial will be held for Parker on July 18, what would have been his 24th birthday, with a New York memorial service to follow. According to a statement, "KRS-One and Simone Parker send their sincere appreciation to everyone who has already responded to the tragic news."
