Most impressive was the record's debut at #20 on the iTunes Pop Albums chart this week.

The album has won favor with a variety of critics. "Their self-released new album, FUNERAL FOR YESTERDAY , demonstrates (that) KITTIE is capable of much more than anyone would have guessed," says REVOLVER Magazine. They add that the album features "concise songwriting, strong hooks and harmonies as exhilaratingly morose as those of Alice In Chains." GUITAR WORLD Magazine adds "KITTIE imbue their songs with colorful licks and textural flourishes, whether they're flowing like Evanescence, riffing like Metallica or slashing like

Slayer."

The band's single, the title track "Funeral For Yesterday" has gained a foothold at rock radio with stations like WRIF in Detroit, MI and WKLQ in Grand Rapids, MI getting its start with nearly 2 million in audience. The video for the single will be released soon and already has numerous early add commitments.
