Ace Frehley Thrills Kiss Fans With Coffeehouse Appearance

Original Kiss guitarist Ace Frehley thrilled fans at the first anniversary party of the Kiss Coffeehouse in South Carolina on Saturday when he turned up unexpectedly to perform.

The rocker, backed by Kiss tribute act Mr. Speed, performed "Shock Me" at the Broadway at the Beach venue in Myrtle Beach after meeting a greeting stunned devotees.

And there was a surprise in store for Frehley too - oft estranged bandmate Paul Stanley phoned the venue to chat to his former guitarist after learning Ace had turned up at the fan convention.

According to Kiss Coffeehouse organizers, Stanley spent 15 minutes chatting with Frehley before the guitarist took to the stage.
