I don't know if you've already seen something like this, but here's what
I ended up with last week in an attempt to transcribe(sp?) the solo in
'The Night Watch' - my alltime fav guitar solo after the one at the end of
'Firepower'. The tab is by no means correct, the fastest part is still
more or less over my head, and you can feel free to ignore my feeble
attempt at notating pulloffs/hammerons/slides.
This has to be one of my all-time favorite guitar solos..
Note: In the part marked with '*start here' and '*end here'
(coincidentally the fastest part of the solo), i've dropped
out all the 1's from fret numbers so i could get them crammed
within the screen =) this means that in that part of the tab
'35653' reads '13 15 16 15 13'.
That fastest lick is also something of a semi-guess - I couldn't
make out the exact notes - but the rest of the solo should be
about right.
One tab line corresponds to one measure. Here goes..
