KID ROCK live album set for release - Super Bowl weekend shows attract major attention

Kid Rock

Self-declared "Pimp of the Nation" KID ROCK will see his much-anticipated new live record, appropriately titled "Live Trucker" released via Atlantic Records February 28th.

The release marks the first time that Rock's band has been billed along side him with the album cover logo being styled after another highly prolific Detroit musician, the legendary Bob Seger, and reading "Kid Rock and The Twisted Brown Trucker Band."

As the Super Bowl rolls into the Motor City, Rock and his outfit will be performing a duo of hometown dates at Joe Louis Arena on Friday February 3rd and Saturday the 4th. Also on Friday, prominent Detroit rock station WRIF will be hosting a Kid Rock pre-party with DJs Doc and Big Daddy at Hockeytown, directly across from Ford Field, where the Pittsburgh Steelers will take on the Seattle Seahawks the following Sunday. Rumors are circulating that Seger will join Rock for the Friday performance at JLA. Sports Illustrated will be flying Rock by helicopter from the Saturday performance to their celebrity event to be held at Mt. Clemens Emerald Theatre.
