Karina Pasian Teams Up With Girl Scouts For Essay Writing Contest
Def Jam recording artist Karina Pasian has teamed with Girl Scouts of the USA for the "Anything Is Possible" contest, an essay writing contest for teenage girls. The contest, which kicks of this week, asks girls 13 or older to explain what "Anything Is Possible" means to them. Submissions can explain how they overcame a difficult obstacle in life, how they are working towards making the impossible possible or how they have been inspired by Karina's music. Ending September 30th, the contest winner will win the chance to meet Karina in person at the 2008 Girl Scout National Convention in Indianapolis. Teens can submit their essays at meetkarina.net/girlscouts In related news, Karina Pasian is currently performing with Lupe Fiasco on the Coca-Cola Teen Concert Tour, one of the most visible events in Coke's annual calendar. The tour makes stops in Washington DC, Atlanta, Chicago and New York within the next few weeks. Pasian's debut album "First Love" is set for release August 19th.
