Legend, Bailey Rae Team Up For Spring Tour

R&B crooner John Legend and British singer Corinne Bailey Rae will team up for a month-long spring tour of North America, beginning April 3 in Irvine, Calif. The two will play theatres and a handful of outdoor venues until May 4th in Atlanta.

Both artists are in line to win Grammy trophies Sunday (Feb. 12) in Los Angeles. Legend is up for best male pop vocal performance, best male R&B vocal performance and best R&B performance by a duo or group with vocals, while Bailey Rae is nominated for record of the year, song of the year and best new artist.

In addition, Legend and Bailey Rae will perform together along with John Mayer during the Grammy telecast.

Corinne Bailey Rae is an acclaimed Grammy Award-nominated English singer and songwriter who released her eponymous debut album Corinne Bailey Rae in February 2006. Rae was named the number one predicted breakthrough act of 2006 in an annual BBC poll of music critics. The poll's predictions subsequently came true, as she became only the fourth female British act in history to have her first album debut at number one.
