Now this obviously needs explaining! Yes, he's using the whammy bar
but trying to describe this in words or symbols? Forget it! :) The best
I can say is that he hammers onto the 3rd fret and dives the bar about 1.5
tones down then pulls off to the 1st fret and pulls up again to normal,
dives again to about 2-3 tones down this time, pulls back up a tone or two
and then dives it to slack. Phew! In short, Joe does a small dive and recover
and then a large dive and recover before diving to slack. Will this diagram
confuse you more? Probably - but here it is :)
