Scott who recently wrapped up a European tour says if she could jump the broom now she would but the wedding will have to wait as they would prefer to celebrate with family and friends. "I'd do it tomorrow if I could. And I know he would, But you know, we want a wedding. I never had one. He's never had one. And we want to be around family and friends and really do it — because this is it!" Scott and Roberts have a busy year ahead, in addition to their wedding, Roberts is slated to join Janet Jackson's "Rock Witchu Tour" this fall while Scott will jet off to Africa to film a new HBO series. Despite their busy schedules, Scott has been spending as much time with her fiancé as possible. In a recent interview with The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Scott cleared up any rumors about her fiancé' stating "John's such a good guy. ... And you know there's been a little bit of an issue with the media saying, you know, 'Jill jumped up and is marrying this drummer.' This is a master percussonist we're talking about here. I'm talking, at 15 years old he was playing with Wynton Marsalis. It's not healthy, not nice, for your mate to be diminished. He's an incredible musician. An incredible man." In related news, Jill Scott's line of bras through Ashley Stewart are flying off the rack. "The bra is going exceptionally well. We're in a state of serious back-order right now ... So much so that I would say give it another month before you place an order; which is a great problem to have, I guess says Scott.
