Rapper Vita, most famous for her collaboration with Ja Rule on "Put It On Me," has left Murder Inc. and Def Jam, according to allhiphop.com.

Vita was with Murder Inc. for two years, but wanted to do more than just sing. Irv Gotti, CEO of the label, insisted that either he or Ja Rule would write the lyrics, which prompted her request to leave, which was granted.
