...strong Myst be so determined and push myself on -> SOLO

The Solo... not tabbed up, has an overdubbed harmony in the middle and

at the end. The rhythm progression is a bit strange too. Basically it

is:

G5 D5 E5 C5 G5 D5 C5 D5 G5 D5 E5 C5 G5 D5 C5

A5 F5 D5 \A5 F5 D/F# A5 F5 D5 A5 F5 D/F# / / / / / /

Where D/F# is 2x023x You finish the solo with a whole lot of them.

Then comes the verse, prechorus and chorus, then the

chorus again, then the intro riff played faster. Then the final harmony:

Guitar 1

e|------------7---------------------------------7--------------10-7-|

B|-7h8-7-8-10---10-8-7-8-7-----------7h8-7-8-10---10-8-7-8-7-8------|

G|-------------------------9-7-7h9~~--------------------------------|

D|------------------------------------------------------------------|

A|------------------------------------------------------------------|

E|------------------------------------------------------------------|

Guitar 2 plays the above five frets, 1 string down... be careful swapping

from the b-g string!

Guitar 1 (Guitar 2 plays the first part of what guitar 1 was playing)

e|-------------10-12-10---------------------------------------------|

B|-10h12-10-12----------12-10-12-10---------------------------------|

G|----------------------------------12-11-12~~~~~-------------------|

D|------------------------------------------------------------------|

A|------------------------------------------------------------------|

E|------------------------------------------------------------------|

Play 3 times |

A third guitar comes in for the 2+3rd times, playing what guitar 2 was

playing, ie 5frets down from what guitar 2 is now playing.

e|-------------10-12-10----------------10----------|

B|-10h12-10-12----------12-10-12-10-12---12~~~~----|

G|-------------------------------------------------|

E|-------------------------------------------------|

B|--17--15-17----------17-15-17-15----------------------------------|

G|----------------------------------------12-11\\\\\\\\9~~~~~~~-----|

D|------------------------------------------------------------------|

A|------------------------------------------------------------------|

E|------------------------------------------------------------------|

All with a doublet feel. This is guitar 1's part. 2+3 are like this

either 5 frets down or whatever... in harmony!

Sorry, but I don't have time to tab up the solo. Please don't mail me

just to ask for the solo... one day it'll happen.

So this is from the Powerslave/Somewhere in Time tab book. It's from

Hal Leonard Guitar. Transcribed by Wolf Marshall.

ISBN 0-88188-777-3 the Hal Leonard number is HL00693096

Take that number to the book store, and they should be able to tell you

if it is still in print and order you a copy. I got mine from a

second hand music store... that might be a good place to look. No, I don't

want to sell mine. There is a bass version of this book, and I have seen

a new Somewhere in Time book by itself. Both books have the cool Stranger

in a Strange land picture on the cover.

See ya.
