India Arie

R&B/Soul singer India.Arie has announced additional dates for her current tour as she continues to promote last year's "Testimony: Vol. 1, Life & Relationship."

The Grammy winner’s next stop is in Memphis, TN on May 27. She’ll take a month-long break before hitting the road again for a number of late June shows. She heads to Europe for a brief tour in July, with additional U.S. dates to follow.

India. Arie's third studio album, Testimony: Vol. 1, Life & Relationship, was released on June 27, 2006. It gave India. Arie her first number-one on the Billboard 200 and was her second chart topper on the R&B chart. This album was also the first number-one album for Motown in thirty-three years since Diana Ross's 1972 Lady Sings the Blues. Its first-week sales of 161,000 copies is Arie's best sales week to date and was certified Gold in August 2006. She is expected to release Testimony: Vol. 2, Love and Politics late 2007.
