New Latin owned label to feature Hardcore and Metal Bands
Sen Dog of Cypress Hill and Mellow Man Ace have formed a new label called Latin Thug Records. In addition to their own album "Ghetto Therapy" the label will also feature Asesino, a Spanish metal group led by Dino Cazares--Fear Factory's former axe grinder--and Tony Campos of Static-X.
The green-lunged Sen Dog will display his own HardCore band, SX-10, along with another HardCore band, N.M.E. from South L.A.
Latin Thug Records teams up with Seattle-based Hawino Records, and will be distributed by Lightyear / WEA. The label plans to release urband-oriented hip-hop and rock albums.
"Ghetto Therapy," the label's first release will hit shelves in February.
