Hed PE's Suffa Voted Best Video of 2007 by MTV Headbangers Ball Viewers
Suburban Noize Records (hed)p.e. was recently voted by fans of Headbanger's Ball as one of the best videos of 2007. The group's politically charged video for "Suffa" was voted the #10 video of 2007, beating out videos by Megadeth, Demon Hunter and Shadows Fall.
"Well, once again, (Hed)p.e. has proven that there is a massive truth movement among the youth. Our fans voted us into the top ten of 2007 for MTV's Headbanger's Ball. Can you imagine all the fake ass metal bands just crying their pretentious eyes out? I love it," said (hed)pe front man Jared Gomes. "They can't take it away from us, no matter what. Those fake, closed minded journalists can say whatever they want, but they can't erase the fact that we have a massive internet following. The youth Planet Earth love (Hed)p.e. and will keep us going no matter what. What an honor to represent masses of youth who are so fucking tired of these ridiculous ass metal bands that have absolutely nothing to say. With the exception of that band Amen, we pretty much stand alone as a band that actually has a purpose and actually has something serious to say. Thank you so much kids!"
(Hed)p.e. is currently touring in support of their sixth studio album, "Insomnia", which was released on Suburban Noize Records. The album is the group's heaviest record in nearly a decade and returns to the group's hardcore roots. The album's lead single "Suffa" has quickly become one of the most requested tracks at Sirius Satellite Radio's Hard Attack and alongside high profile groups like Down, As I Lay Dying, Machine Head, DevilDriver and Megadeth. (Hed)p.e. will embark on the Heavy Hitters Tour alongside Kingspade, SubNoize Souljaz (featuring Big B, Dirtball) and Insolence.
