Chances of reunion and Slash to release autobiography
Steven Adler, ex drummer with rock supergroup Guns N' Roses says the original lineup may get back together. The drummer who left the band in 1990, said in an interview on his official MySpace page that he has been in talks with Axl Rose and the band might reunite.
Adler had this to say :"I saw Axl, talked with him from, shit, what was it? 10 or 12 at night to 8 in the morning, we talked. We resolved a lot of fucking shit! I said, 'You know the five of us have to get back together! That's when it will really fucking take off again! Nothing will be bigger. It would be the biggest reunion ever in history'.
"He just grinned and giggled a little bit. Everybody in his band came up to me and said, 'You're the greatest fucking drummer!. We tell Axl, 'You gotta get the band back together'!" That's what they said to HIM!"
The drummer also added that he has also been in talks with ex Guns N Roses and Velvet Revolver guitarist Slash and ex-rhythm guitarist Izzy Stradlin, who has already made a number of guest appearances on Guns N Roses' recent tour. He revealed they are both supporting the idea.
Rose, who is currently fronting Guns N' Roses, is about to release the band's much anticipated new studio album 'Chinese Democracy' on March 6.
In the meantime Velvet Revolver star Slash has been busy with his autobiography. According to New York Business magazine the guitarist has sold his autobiography to publishing house HarperCollins.
He'll be working with writer Anthony Bozza, who helped Motley Crue rocker Tommy Lee pen his memoir 'Tommyland'.
Slash left the band back in 1996 after arguements with singer Axl Rose. The manuscript is due to be completed in the autumn.
