This lesson will tell you all that you need to know to solo like

a guitar god. Down to business.

1) Find the key of the song.

-the key of the song is usually the first chord used. In the case

of "Sweet Home Alabama", the first chord used is the D chord.

2) Find the key scale.

-if the song is in a major key, any major scale will do.

-if the song is in a minor key, then any minor scale will do!

3) Solo

-to solo, use your imagination but try to stay within the scale

you are using. It will sound much better and you can also use the

scale an octave up on the 12th fret as open.

If you follow these instructions, you will be able to solo for

any song in the world!
